Last year I had the immense of honor of being a photographer for the Stories of Autism organization. The organization promotes the acceptance and awareness of those on the Autism spectrum by showcasing portraits of individuals, along with stories of their struggles and triumphs, written by the families themselves.
Spending time with Isaiah last year to photograph him for the gallery was an incredible experience, and I’m looking forward to participate again. For the 2014 gallery, I’ll be looking for three children of different ages in Racine or Kenosha County. If you know of a family who has a child with Autism, please share this post with them. The parent will be asked to fill out a registration form as well as a model release, giving permission to use the child’s image, first name, and story. I’ll be photographing the children in January and February, and the gallery will be released in April for Autism awareness month. The photo session is complimentary, and the family will receive an 8×10 print, along with three digital images. Please e-mail me for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for reading… and for sharing.
