April has never seemed so far away as it does now when I have a folder full of beautiful images of Tyler (pictured here in his crown) and Gavin. I have several more children lined up to photograph in January and February for the Stories of Autism organization. In April, their stories and many more images will be featured here on the blog in honor of Autism Awareness Month. It is an honor to be invited in to these children’s homes and photograph them, and I am so thankful to their families for that opportunity. Their stories and experiences will resonate with many. And the eyes of many others will be opened to the challenges these children face, as well as the great joy that they bring to their loved ones. I can’t wait to share. Until I can, Tyler in his crown and dinosaur slippers will have to do!

  1. I do not have any family or friends that have children with autism, so I really love these posts and learning more about the challenges they face and the love they bring to their family
